Letter from our Superintendent

Greetings from the Los Angeles Division of the Pacific Southwest Region/NMRA.  Glad you decided to enter our website!  Have a look around.

Our membership includes all National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) members residing in either the Los Angeles or Ventura Counties of Southern California.  We are a talented group of model railroaders, prototype followers and general enthusiasts that enjoy sharing our hobby with others regardless of scale or focus.  Some of us are model building experts; others scenic artists.  Our ranks include historians, prototype rivet counters, scale operators, electronics wizards, technology gurus, and creative geniuses.  All bonded by a common thread -- we are model railroaders.  (Likewise, we enjoy getting together for Division meets and at Regional conventions to share in the hobby.)

If you are not presently a member of the NMRA, I encourage you to join.  The benefits are enormous: including advocacy, standards, and social interaction; not to mention helping to educate you more regarding the hobby of model railroading.  When you become a member you also will be automatically assigned to a local region and division based on your home address.  To learn more, go to NMRA Membership Application and Renewal
